“Some years ago my wife Jay began to attend the Roker Center on an out-patient basis. There she found skilled supervision, companionship and a congenial non-pressured atmosphere. As Jay's inevitable impairment progressed, it became clear that she would require round-the-clock care. Jay now spends each night in a small group residence under continuous Roker supervision. Each morning Jay and three fellow residents are driven to The Roker Center where Jay spends her day in a familiar and comfortable setting. At each day's end she is returned to the residence, dined and put to bed. Jay, her children and I all are extremely happy with this new and unique arrangement.”

COMMUNAL LIVING

COMMUNAL LIVING...
Edgepark is set among lovely trees and surrounded by an atmosphere of warmth and care. Residents socialize in the living room or enjoy scenic views from the enclosed patio.
Old White Plains is a home away from home with bright, sunny rooms and large shared living areas. Residents enjoy the outdoor patio during warm spring and summer days or relax year round in the oversized family room.
Our communal residences are inspired by caregivers and family members of clients at the Edna L. Roker Social Adult Day Center. We designed each residence to reflect the look and feel of a private home. Residents of Edgepark and Old White Plains receive individualized attention from certified and caring staff. All residents receive assistance with personal care, meals, and laundry service. A maximum of four residents at each location ensures an intimate family feel.
